As an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri, Scott blends his expertise in technology, information systems, project management, and education to help his students learn to think critically about emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the internet of things.

Scott is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and the author of many books, magazine articles, online articles, and peer-reviewed journal articles.

As a technologist with decades of experience in project management, information security, and video conferencing technology, Scott continues to explore the role technology plays in our lives and in our future.

As an experienced business leader in information technology, he serves as an advisor to local startups and the Mizzou Education Business Incubator. Scott is the founder of Kaleidoscope Consulting, an information technology business that he operated for over twenty years.
